Something fun!

Homemade ice cream
Here's a link to something that you can probably do as a post-exam activity with your Home Economics classes: let the students make their own ice cream! Sure-fire way to make you the most popular 'Cher in school! :)

I've attended a course held by an ice cream shop and it's actually really simple to make the ice cream mixture. One thing to note: to successfully get ice cream, you need to incorporate air into the ice cream mixture during the freezing process. Rather than thinking about how to keep the container turning continuously in the freezer, we packed the ice cream mixtures into plastic ziplock bags and "buried" them into milo tins failed with ice and loads of salt. After sealing the tins, all we had to do was to roll the tins back and forth on the table for the next 15 to 20 mins until our ice cream mixture becomes frozen. And you'll get your ice cream! :)
